www.ttsystem.com Environmental protection, process and product sustainability (particularly with regard to climate change), continuous improvement in environmental monitoring and, where possible, reduction and mitigation of environmental impacts are fundamental objectives for TTS Cleaning S.r.l. (TTS). TTS’s activities are not particularly critical in terms of environmental impact and legislation; nevertheless, the Management has always been committed to protecting the environment of the surrounding area and our planet, and therefore proposes to 1. maintain a certified Environmental Management System to monitor, eliminate or minimise environmental impact (under normal and emergency conditions); 2. comply with mandatory environmental regulations; 3. plan the system taking into account the context in which it operates, relevant internal and external factors, the expectations of significant stakeholders, and the risks and opportunities associated with environmental aspects and business processes; 4. raise awareness among suppliers and other relevant stakeholders on environmental and sustainability issues; 5. monitor and supervise the most impactful processes in compliance with environmental laws and programmes; 6. ensure adequate training and information for staff on the environmental aspects of their work; 7. inform staff and stakeholders about the results achieved and improvement plans that impact their activities; 8. innovate products in the name of sustainability, not only environmental (see related ESG policies and certifications); 9. implement environmental improvement programmes for products and processes, and in particular: - reduce energy supply from polluting sources; - minimise consumption of energy and other resources; - eliminate or minimise the use of potentially harmful substances in production and auxiliary processes, also assessing the willingness of strategic suppliers to intervene on their less sustainable processes and products; - maximise the use of recyclable materials or materials with low environmental impact; - develop durable products that allow users to reduce their consumption of water and chemicals; - study technical solutions to mitigate the environmental impact of products throughout their life cycle, including disposal; - use materials, processes and solutions that comply with international laws and voluntary standards, adhering where possible to product and process certifications (e.g. CFP, PSV, Ecolabel, Ecovadis, etc.); - monitor suppliers, especially strategic ones, primarily for compliance with environmental regulations but, where possible, also for their overall commitment to environmental sustainability. - reduce the use of packaging that is not strictly necessary and use recycled and/or recyclable materials. - limit waste production. - give preference to “zero km” suppliers, i.e. those as close as possible to the company site. The Management continuously invests in reducing environmental impact and improving sustainability, focusing in particular on photovoltaic energy production, improving the efficiency of production and auxiliary plants, waste reduction, measuring CO2 emissions and reducing and/or offsetting them, obtaining environmental product certifications, and maintaining the certification of the environmental system itself. In accordance with these general principles, environmental improvement programmes identify annual objectives that are then translated into specific objectives for all stakeholders involved. The degree to which these objectives are met is monitored by management, process representatives and the personnel involved, with the full and active involvement of external collaborators and suppliers. All representatives must ensure that the Policy expressed herein is disseminated, understood and effectively implemented. S.
