Taking care of their fibres is essential to maintain optimum performance and enjoy their benefits for a long time: EFFECTIVE MECHANICAL ACTION HIGH ABSORBENCY POWER LOW FRICTION TIPS AND TRICKS Removing coarse dirt Shake or vacuum the mops used to clean the floor to remove coarse dirt that could damage textiles or the washing machine during the wash cycle. Do not overload Do not overfill the washing machine but leave enough space to allow cloths and mops to move freely, releasing the collected dirt completely. Be sure to separate cotton and microfibre mops to prevent the microfibre from picking up cotton residue during washing, ruining the performance of the fibres. Start with pre-washing Pre-wash in cold water without detergent to remove any residues of chemical used during cleaning as well as surface dirt. Detergent only in washing Use standard detergent only in the washing cycle, NOT with fabric softener or conditioner, following the manufacturer’s instructions. The detergent should be chosen according to the area in which the textiles are used and the degree of soiling. Drying at appropriate temperatures When it is possible to dry textiles in a dryer, it is essential to avoid high temperatures in order not to damage the fibres. Avoid storage in humid conditions After washing and drying, it is recommended to store the textiles in a dry place to prevent the appearance of mould. Check the washing machine periodically Regularly check that the detergent tray is clean, the pipes of the professional dosing systems are free of scale, the drum is not damaged and there is no residual dirt, the drain hose is not squashed and the drain is lower than the washing machine. Cleaning and maintenance Clean the skylight seal after each flush and periodically the pump or drain valve, check the water hardness and perform scheduled maintenance to check the condition of the components, especially the more sensitive ones such as the heating element.
